Gideon: It Is Hard To End Well

Dec 4, 2016    Cody Bartrug    Judges: Fallen People. Faithful God

How often in life are we just trying to move on? Maybe we’re ready to move on from a hard job, a hard parenting season, or a hard marriage. Today, marks the fourth and last sermon on Gideon in our Judges series. In the previous weeks, we hopefully learned that our decisions should be made with God at the center (not fear, comfort, or pride), and we can be confident and obedient to those decisions through Jesus’ work alone (not our own) through God’s power, purpose, and provision. This week, we will be focusing on how to end well using Judges 8 as an example of what roadblocks often stand in our way of ending well. We are going to focus on three: people, pride, and position.
