As Paul is being moved closer and closer to torture and imprisonment, he has opportunities to share his past and experience with those who have captured him. While these may be seemingly simple remarks, Paul shows the power of redeemed experiences in the life of a believer. This text reminds us that our audiences and our experiences can all be used by God. Even our greatest hurts and mistakes can be leveraged for his purposes as we allow him to do his work in and through us.
