As followers of Christ, it is important that we distinguish ourselves in healthy, helpful, gospel-centered ways. We do not want to place religious hurdles in front of ourselves or others that aren’t supposed to be there, trying to drum up morality and righteousness by our own strength. Conversely, we don’t want to be vague about our faith, adding further confusion to what God himself wants to make clear to his people. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through faith in him. We have one Savior, but this one Savior died so that all who believe in him may have abundant, eternal life.
