A Legacy Of Identity
Mar 19, 2017 • Allen Coleman • 2 Peter 1:3-9
This week we take a closer look at our identity as we strive to leave a gospel legacy. We are reminded of the dire importance of remembering our identity as the beloved sons and daughters of God, loved eternally through faith in Jesus Christ. This is the legacy we are to live out of and pass on to our children, both biological and spiritual. Any other legacy, fabricated by our own sinful desires, regrets, and misguided passions, will not provide the life and power promised, but will lead us and our children astray, as we seek after that which does not satisfy. May we remember Christ, and may we be emboldened and equipped to live for him, embodying a legacy that is everlasting.
