Homecoming

One of the most referenced and revered of Jesus’ teachings, the parable of the prodigal son tells a story of rebellion, love, and the heart behind all of our wrestling. What drives us so far from home? What does our Father think of us? Does he see us in our leaving, our returning, and when we have faithfully stayed and served for years? The human heart finds itself wandering amongst wounds, temptations, and desires, and these trails all find parallels in the parable of a father, his two sons, and the love that binds them together. Join us as we unite our journey to this teaching; though we may travel far, or ignore the joy at our very own doorstep, there is a Father who waits eagerly, with arms wide open, for each of his beloved children.
