Discussing Lust
Hello church,
This Sunday I will be teaching on lust and how the wisdom of God speaks to this sin. While I do not intend to be explicit or graphic in my message, I do intend to speak plainly about biblical sexuality and how sin in the world and sin in our hearts has distorted and wreaked havoc on our desires. I am sharing this ahead of time mainly for any parents who have teens or children in the audience, that these parents may be forewarned. I don't want to discourage anyone from attending (especially teens, who should be present); rather, I want parents to be prepared ahead of time that these themes will be addressed abundantly on Sunday. As always, we have kids ministry for fifth graders and younger as an option.
On Wednesday 5/27, our time will be less discussion-based and more prayer-based. We'd love to have you there as we press into the Lord together.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to send me an email: andrew@anthemchurch.net.
Love you all,
Andrew
