Is it time to be baptized?

Hey church!

Easter Sunday is less than two weeks away, and we are busy getting everything ready for an amazing celebration of the risen Jesus. We can’t wait!

We are eagerly anticipating some baptisms that day as well. We have a number of people who have been attending our church over the past year or so who are ready to take this step; some may be inching their way towards a decision, and others may want to get baptized but have questions.

No matter where you are with this, if you have not yet been baptized, I am calling you to take these steps.

1 - Get acquainted with what baptism is and isn't.

Just over a month ago, I preached on this very topic, aiming to provide clarity on this important step of faith. If you are still unsure about the concept of baptism, take some time to watch or listen to the sermon. This is a good place to start.

2 - Let us know if you're interested in baptism.

If you are ready to be baptized, or even if you just think you are, take a moment to fill out this form. This will give us as pastors the information needed to help you get baptized or to help provide clarity where needed.

3 - Join us after church this Sunday for a brief meeting.

Immediately after the gathering this Sunday (3/29), I’ll gather up everyone who has filled out the form and we will discuss next steps. The meeting should only take 15-30 minutes at most.

4 - Spread the word!

If you know someone who is on the fence about being baptized, and you aren’t sure they’ve seen this post, please send it to them! We want to help as many people as we can take this important step of faith into the family of God, and you can help by spreading the word to everyone who needs to see it.
Thank you all. I’m looking forward to Easter Sunday. I hope you are as well!

Blessings & love,
Andrew
